Please pardon the dust, it’s a work in progress.

I never had a clear idea for what I wanted to use tumblr for. At first I used it as my twitter posting random updates long before I joined twitter. Then it was random links and reposting my friend’s tumblr posts I liked. There might have been other stuff in between; you can go back to look at that if you’d like. So finally I’ve come to a new idea for this site. I will be doing what I’ve been doing on my Facebook page where I post up links of stuff I find on the internet that I think people should see, hear, and/or know about. That started up because I was unemployed and had too much time to spend on the internet. I figured I make the most of it and share the more notable things I was finding online.

I had been thinking about taking it off Facebook or running something parallel recently. However I didn’t want to figure out a site from scratch and maintaining a site is quite some work. And it’s been a lot easier with Facebook, tumblr, and Google Reader because they provide you with a link you can place on the bookmark bar to create a small post. Coming back to tumblr I figure this is a good enough middle ground to settle on for now.

So hopefully I’ll be able to keep this going and it’ll be enlightening, interesting, and entertaining.
